About

My work combines natural and organic materials through fibers processes including binding, felting, weaving and dyeing. All of the hair and wool I use is cruelty free and sourced in the U.S.

I am an artist and art educator living and working in Northern California. I have a background in fiber art and sculpture, and continue to make large sculptural pieces and site-specific work that incorporates natural and found materials with casting and wood-working. I began making wearable art, wall and chime pieces in 2013, when I reconnected with the Southwestern, silver and turquoise jewelry my grandfather made for me, and for once felt inspired to make something small and precious rather than enormous and recycled.
